Wolves Snap Suns' Winning Streak

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards Leads Team to Victory

The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped the Phoenix Suns' five-game winning streak with a thrilling 105-93 victory on Wednesday night at Target Center.

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 25 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Karl-Anthony Towns added 20 points and 12 rebounds, while D'Angelo Russell contributed 18 points and seven assists.

The Suns were led by Devin Booker, who scored 24 points. Chris Paul added 18 points and nine assists, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Timberwolves' balanced attack.

The Timberwolves took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Suns 32-18. They held on to their lead in the fourth quarter, despite a late rally by the Suns.

With the victory, the Timberwolves improved to 42-33 on the season. They are now just one game behind the Denver Nuggets for the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

The Suns fell to 51-24 with the loss. They remain in first place in the Western Conference, but their lead over the Memphis Grizzlies has been cut to just one game.
